We’re launching a goal-review blitz in April!
The reason? We want you to make dramatic progress toward the things that matter to you most. And if we set goals and review plans, you’ll move fast.
So this month we’re making it priority No. 1 to meet with you for 15 minutes to find out what you want to accomplish.
If you’ve done a goal review before, we’re going to analyze and celebrate your progress. Then we’ll review our plan to make sure you’re always moving forward at top speed. If your goals have changed, we’ll create a new plan.
If you’ve never done a goal review session before, this is your chance to start a new process that significantly increases motivation, accountability and satisfaction. We’ll help you clarify your goals and provide an exact plan to make progress.
For example, you might have a goal of running 5 km in 20 minutes. We’ll review your current best time, then map out a plan to get you to that goal. In some cases, the plan might include setting a short-term goal of dropping 2 minutes off your current time to get you closer to 20 minutes. Or if you’re within striking distance of 20 minutes, we’ll focus on the final push for a new PR.
That’s just one example involving running. Your goal might be a first pull-up or a new squat, deadlift or press record. Or maybe you have a weight-loss goal, a nutrition goal or a goal related to an upcoming competition or event. Maybe you’d like to set habits-based goals like getting to bed at the same time every night or eating veggies at every meal.
Whatever you want to do, we can help!
So start thinking about your goals right now. Here are a few questions to help you:
1. Imagine you’re over the moon in July—you’re thrilled with your accomplishments. What would have happened in the previous 90 days?
2. What motivates you to work hard? Could you focus on that answer and add some well-defined goals to keep your energy high?
3. If you aren’t feeling motivated right now, is there anything you’ve ever wanted to do but never seriously considered?
4. Are there any events coming up in your life that would be more enjoyable if you chased your goals in advance of them?
Feel free to send me your answer or answers right now by hitting “reply”! I’ll make some notes for myself and then we can talk about a time when we can meet up, preferably in person. (But we can do a phone or an online meeting if you like.)
If you don’t want to send anything yet, consider making some notes for yourself. Revisit them a few times before we talk and update them as you see fit. Then bring them to our meeting.
Either way, let’s get together. I love nothing more than talking to our clients in person, and this will be a great chance to fire each other up. Once you share a goal and get it down on paper, it’s like adding gas to the fire.
I can’t wait to hear about what you want to accomplish over the next 90 days.
