CrossFit Fixx Member Highlight – Corinna Pietruszynksi!!

What brought you to CrossFit in the first place?

“I was pretty heavily involved with cycling. I was going
through a divorce and was becoming a single parent. Cycling
workouts take quite a lot of time. I was looking for something
that was intense, and a lot less time consuming. A couple of
my cyclist friends had tried CrossFit and told me great things
about it, so when I saw a Groupon for CrossFit FIXX, I decided
to give it a try.

What was your first impression? How has that changed?

My first impression was very positive. All of the
instructors and other gym members were so welcoming,
encouraging and helpful. I felt at home, and this hasn’t
changed a bit!

What was your first “bright spot”? (Positive moment)

It’s all a bright spot for me. CrossFit has become my
other love, alongside cycling. I was very happy and surprised to notice how much CrossFit was
helping my cycling and vice versa. My cycling is better when I’m consistent with CrossFit and
my CrossFit is better when I’m consistent with cycling.

What are you working on now?

Right now I’m working on being consistent. 2020 has been quite a year for us all, and it
has definitely knocked my consistency and fitness back a bit. I’m really thankful that FIXX is
open.

What are you looking forward to in the future at Fixx?

I love the Open extravaganzas. I also just really love this gym. I always look forward to
being there and seeing the friendly faces and chipping through the challenging and awesome
workouts together. I love the camaraderie.”
